Goodbye to #28

Yesterday was the trade deadline, and while here in Philadelphia there were no moves made, back in Buffalo there were a couple. The only one that I care about is the trade of Paul Gaustad to the Nashville Predators.

I've been a huge fan of Gaustad for years, and I'm sorry to say that I probably won't follow him that closely now that he'll be playing for Nashville (a city that shouldn't even have a team). He's been with the Sabres his entire NHL career, and I know that I'm not the only one who will miss seeing him in the lineup. He's not a fighter, but he plays with fight, and that's why he's such a favorite with the fans.

Good luck to the man they call Goose.

Q: You know what's annoying?

A: Going to the Hockey Hall of Fame and finding out that it's being renovated. Lame-o.
